Developing and expanding our portfolio

Our focus is on the exploration and development of our assets across our cobalt, lithium and graphite projects in North America and South Korea. We continue to assess additional land opportunities in North America.

Cobalt

BMR controls the largest area of mineral exploration claims in Ontario, Canada. In Canada, the Company controls a district-scale land package of 1,100 km2 in the Ontario Cobalt Belt hosting multiple high-grade targets. It is the largest area of mineral exploration claims in North America. Further, our McAra prospect currently hosts the largest reported cobalt Mineral Resource in Ontario, which is derived from just a fraction of the land area under the company’s control in the district.

BMR’s Canadian land package is located west of the historic silver mining town of Cobalt and north of the Sudbury Basin. Exploration in this area has been primarily focused on silver and we believe that the area is underexplored for Cobalt.

BMR's cobalt projects have numerous prospects with cobalt grades ranging from 1-21%. The company's objective is to locate and develop multiple high-grade cobalt deposits with a view to processing cobalt minerals at a central processing facility in the district.

Lithium

BMR holds an extensive land package in the Mojave Desert and Basin and Range physiographic province of western United States. BMR owns 100% of North America’s largest lithium exploration project, the Panamint Valley Project. The Company owns two lithium exploration projects and one high-grade hectorite (lithium clay) project strategically located within the Basin and Range Province. The 165 km2 landholding shares similar geological characteristics to Clayton Valley, the only producing lithium brine operation in the USA

Graphite

BMR owns 100% of the largest footprint of graphite in South Korea. The two high purity flake graphite deposits in South Korea, each with JORC Code compliant resources, are well suited for the production of the spherical graphite required for Li-ion batteries. The deposits are close to existing infrastructure and major battery manufacturers. Both projects were previously producing graphite mines and have expansion potential.
